1.salary工資（n.）-salaried工資的（adj.）

be charged with　被控訴有某種罪行；becharged by sb.  由某人收取費用

charge for  收取多少價錢e.g.How much do you charge for this car？這輛車你要多少錢？

in charge  負責　e.g.Who is in charge here？  誰在這負責？

1. not only …but also…不但…而且…

e.g. We can do it not only with the help of words， but also in many other ways.

我們不但可以在語言的幫助下，還可以用其它的方式來告訴別人我們在想什么。

2. neither… nor…既不…也不

e.g. People who can neither hear nor speak talk to each otherwith the help of their fingers.

既不能聽也局能說的人也可以用他們的手指來彼此交流。

3. each time 每一次（連詞：用來連接兩個句子）

e.g. He shook his head each time the waiter brought himsomething to drink.

每一次服務員給他拿來喝的東西他都搖頭。

4. havedifferent views on sth./sb.  對某人或某事有不同觀點／動詞詞組

5. tend to do sth.  傾向做某事；

6. agree on sth. 　同意做某事；agreewith sb.  與某人意見一致

7.attract sb.'s attention  吸引某人注意/動詞詞組

8. for the most part  很大程度上，在大多數情況下，一般地說/作插入語

9. persuade sb. To do sth.  勸說某人做某事/動詞詞組

10. put out ads.  做廣告/動詞詞組

11. A is characteristic of B  A是B的特征

e.g. Quick speech is characteristic of me.  講話快是我的特征。

12. catch the eye  吸引某人/動詞詞組

13. no more than  僅僅e.g. What he said is no more than rubbish. 他說的話僅僅是垃圾。

14. identify with  把什么和什么聯系起來 e.g. It is hard for me to identify his behavior with his thought.　我很難把他的想法和他的行為聯系起來。

15. be carried over into　繼續下去；遺留下去　e.g.The same techniques have been carried over into television ads. 同樣的方法也運用在電視廣告中。

16. add sth. to sth.把什么加在什么上／動詞詞組；mixsth. and sth. 把什么和什么融合在一起

17. put up with　忍耐／動詞詞組

e.g. How can you put up with a person of his sort.　你怎么能容忍他那樣的人？

18. be responsible for sb./sth  為某人或某事負責／動詞詞組
