 *出境游時，邊防檢查官的問話。

◎沒有理由不讓做吧。No reason not to.
Why do you want to do that? (你為什么想做那件事?) 
No reason not to. (沒有理由不讓做吧。) 
= Why not? 
= What's wrong with it? 
= Why shouldn't I?


◎你怎么在這兒? Why are you here? 
*根據(jù)說話方式的不同，有時會讓對方聽起來不禮貌。


◎我告訴你為什么…… I'll tell you why... 
= This is the reason why...


◎總之，是這么回事兒。In brief, it's like this.
*比較隨便的說法，用在說出重點之前。雖然不是正式的說法，但可用于所有情況。 
= In short, it's like this.
